Elevation Recruitment Group are supporting a well-established manufacturing business in Shipley to recruit an Assistant Cost Accountant. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a fast-paced and supportive finance team. The Role

Monitor, investigate, and report on inventory adjustments

Support SOX controls, compliance, and testing processes

Update costs and investigate costing queries

Produce monthly variance analysis and maintain standard costs

Prepare journals and complete balance sheet reconciliations

Forecast cost of sales, margins, and inventory levels

Support stock takes, WIP checks, and annual cost revaluations

About You

AAT qualified (or studying towards CIMA/ACCA)

Strong understanding of double entry and costing principles

Experience in a busy finance environment with tight deadlines

Manufacturing and ERP/MRP system experience beneficial

Confident Excel user with strong analytical skills

Organised, detail-focused, and a collaborative team player
