Assistant Accountant

We are recruiting an experienced Assistant Accountant for a family-owned company based in Huddersfield. The Job

Reporting to the Management Accountant and providing support to the wider team, duties will include:

Processing of overseas invoices and payments

Reconciliation of multi-currency bank accounts

Monthly stock reconciliations

Monthly rebate calculations and reconciliation

Accruals and prepayments

Updating and maintaining the fixed assets

Other ad hoc duties as required

The Person

Must be able to work on your own initiative and not be afraid to make suggestions/improvements

Good IT skills are essential, including Excel

Prior use of Sage is desirable
