Assistant Accountant

JMF Associates is currently partnering with a reputable multi-site company in Central London to find a practice trained ACCA/CIMA part qualified Assistant Accountant. The Assistant Accountant role offers 1 day per week working from home.

This pivotal role offers an excellent opportunity for a candidate with a background in commercal setting and plays a pivotal role in contributing to a dynamic finance team. You will be responsible for supporting various accounting processes, including bank reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and assisting with month-end procedures. Your attention to detail, organisational skills, and proficiency in Excel and accounting systems will be essential to ensure accurate financial management and compliance.

This role would suit an individual with

Previous 4-5 years’ experience in finance or accounting roles

Accountancy practice training

Strong reconciliation, reporting, and organisational skills

Experience with balance sheet reconciliations and month-end processes

Part-qualified (AAT/ACCA/CIMA) or studying towards qualification

It would be beneficial if you had experience in retail or multi-entity environments (Desirable)
