RG Consultancy are working with an excellent company based in Salford who are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their growing team.
Working closely with Finance Manager, the Assistant Accountant role will help ensure accurate and timely financial information is maintained across the business.
Key duties
Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable function
Carrying out bank and balance sheet reconciliations
Responding to finance queries from internal departments and suppliers/customers
Investigating and resolving discrepancies
Posting journals and maintaining the general ledger
Assisting with VAT returns and other statutory reporting
Processing payments and monitoring outstanding invoices
Providing general support to the wider finance team
Hybrid - 1 day from home
