Assistant Accountant

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Book-keeper/Assistant Accountant to join a busy Accountancy Practice on a permanent basis based in Ealing.

Working closely with the team your role will be to keep all the client's accounts up to date, manage records, keep in touch with clients to request information. The firm has a wide variety of clients in different fields making the work interesting and diverse.

The ideal candidate has a relaxed but professional nature, previous experience of working at a practice and will relish the opportunity to be at the centre of a growing business and to grow their knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

General bookkeeping for various clients

Bank Reconciliations

Contacting clients to request information

Payroll both weekly and monthly

Filing VAT Returns

Self-Assessments

Answering the phone

Assisting in accounts preparation

Have previously worked for a small practice
