About the opportunity
We are on the hunt for a high-impact Anti-Financial Crime Subject Matter Expert (Senior Associate) to join our frontline global team! In this role you will be working closely with all AFC and Sanctions functions ensuring that regulatory requirements are embedded in our operational processes and assessments. Additionally, you will have end-to-end responsibilities for cross functional projects impacting our regulatory landscape.
You need to have a strong Financial Crime background and a robust operational experience in an international setting. Success in this fast-paced tech-driven environment requires a proactive, forthcoming approach matched with high quality standards. A background in Banking or FinTech is a distinct advantage.
Supporting on the design of scalable processes for the operational teams within Second Line while ensuring they are compliant and audit-proof
Serving as the main Second Line stakeholder for product, business and operational teams on AFC processes and tooling
Acting as the primary contact for initiating and building scalable AI solutions across Second Line processes
Performing risk assessments for new products, processes and third parties
Supporting AFC teams on internal and external audits
Collaborating closely with AFC Analytics
Ensuring that accesses in AFC Second Line teams are managed in accordance with internal policies and procedures
Delivering and taking end-to-end ownership on projects initiated by Second Line functions
Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a comparable field; an additional AFC related qualification (e.g ACAMS) is a strong plus
5+ years of experience in a relevant compliance or financial crime role
In-depth knowledge of European regulations on Financial Crime (KYC, AML, Fraud, Sanctions etc.), industry best practice and current banking regulatory landscape
