AML Analyst

A leading US law firm is seeking an experienced AML Analyst to join its Risk & Compliance team. This role is integral to supporting the firm's global compliance framework and ensuring adherence to applicable anti-money laundering and financial crime regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct AML and CDD/KYC reviews for new and existing clients, including individuals, corporates, trusts, and complex structures

Perform risk assessments and identify potential AML, sanctions, and reputational risks

Review and analyse the source of funds and source of wealth documentation

Carry out ongoing monitoring, periodic reviews, and trigger event reviews

Support enhanced due diligence (EDD) for higher risk matters

Liaise with legal, risk, and compliance stakeholders to resolve queries efficiently

Maintain accurate and timely records in line with regulatory and firm requirements

Contribute to the continuous improvement of AML policies, procedures, and controls

Candidate Profile

Proven experience in an AML, KYC, or financial crime role within a law firm

Strong understanding of AML regulations and risk-based approaches, ideally across multiple jurisdictions

Experience reviewing complex client structures and high-risk matters

High attention to detail with strong analytical and investigative skills

Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Confident communicator with a professional and collaborative approach
