£650 - £750 p/d - Umbrella engagement - 5 month initial contract - 1 day per week on site in Bristol

Overview

We're looking for an experienced a AI Product Lead / Senior Product manager with strong AI exposure to lead the development and delivery of customer-facing AI products across voice and digital channels. You'll shape product vision, strategy, roadmap and performance, working with cross-functional teams and external AI partners to create intelligent experiences that improve customer outcomes, automate interactions and deliver measurable commercial value.

You'll take products from discovery and experimentation through to delivery and optimisation, using customer research, data, rapid prototyping and feedback loops to validate opportunities and continuously improve the experience.

Key responsibilities

Help shape the vision, strategy, roadmap and KPIs for customer-facing AI products.

Deliver AI solutions across conversational, voice and digital channels, working with specialist AI technology partners.

Lead a cross-functional product team focused on customer and commercial outcomes.

Identify AI opportunities within existing customer journeys and turn them into testable product hypotheses.

Prototype, experiment and validate solutions through customer research and data.

Use performance, engagement and customer feedback to prioritise the roadmap.

Lead refinement through journey mapping, story mapping, user stories and acceptance criteria.

Work effectively across technology, commercial, operational and regulatory stakeholders.

Operate within an agile product environment, contributing to planning, refinement, reviews and demos.

What we're looking for

Substantial Product Management experience, ideally owning digital products or customer journey within Financial Services or FinTech.

Strong experience delivering digital technology products.

Good understanding of AI and emerging technology, ideally including conversational or customer-facing AI.

Experience within financial services or another regulated environment.

Strong understanding of UX and customer journey design.

Commercially minded, with experience using data and KPIs to drive product decisions.

Comfortable working with engineers, architects, UX, data and business stakeholders.

Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.

Highly desirable

Hands-on experience building or launching customer-facing AI products.

Conversational AI, voice AI, virtual assistant or AI agent experience.

Experience working with third-party AI platforms or vendors.

Experience applying AI within regulated financial-services customer journeys.
