About the role

We are looking for a self-motivated and resourceful Bank Head of FP&A to join us during a pivotal moment of growth. As Affirm Bank is currently in its formation phase, we are actively building out our foundational team. Reporting to the Bank CFO, the Bank Head of FP&A will be central to this effort, playing a key role in the formation and operational build-out of the Bank.

The Bank Head of FP&A will play a critical role in building the team and leading day-to-day finance operations. Core responsibilities include managing the forecasting and budget process, developing robust financial models, capital stress testing and monitoring, financial analysis, and partnering with Affirm, Inc. cross-functional teams on financial workflows.

What you'll do

Team Leadership & Talent Development: Build and lead the Bank strategic finance team, providing strategic direction, recruitment, and coaching as we establish the function.

Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead the end-to-end forecasting and budget process, ensuring alignment with organizational goals during this critical startup phase. Perform rigorous financial analysis to inform strategic decision-making.

Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic planning, scenario analysis, and forecasting for the Bank.
