Accounts Senior

Three Bridges Recruitment is recruiting for an Accounts Senior for an Accountancy Practice based in Glasgow City Centre. This employer are open on experience level. Whether you're just starting to prepare accounts yourself & want more responsibility, or you're already managing your own portfolio and looking for a better setup, there's flexibility. Either way, you'd be preparing statutory accounts through to partner review, with support around you and room to grow.

Job

The job of Accounts Senior will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:

Prepare statutory & management accounts for review by the Partners

Handle basic corporation, personal tax & VAT returns (training will be offered for this if needed)

Support & develop the accounts assistants in the team who assist with bookkeeping

Assist in client liaison

You

As Accounts Senior you will ideally be skilled &/or qualified in the following

Skilled in carrying out the duties listed above

Skilled in preparing statutory accounts are essential, skills in tax can be taught or developed

Skilled in cloud-based accounting software, like Xero

Qualifications are not essential, but being a part or fully qualified Accountant would be advantageous

Detail-oriented, with strong analytical & problem-solving skills

Excellent at prioritising to meet deadlines

Good communicator with superb interpersonal skills
