Accounts Senior

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Accounts Semi Senior to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for an AAT-qualified or ACA/ACCA part-qualified professional who is looking to build their technical expertise, gain exposure to a varied client portfolio, and progress towards a senior position.

Your new role Working closely with senior team members and managers, you will play an important role in delivering high-quality accounting services while continuing to develop your professional skills. Duties will include:

Preparing year-end accounts for a diverse portfolio of clients.

Assisting with the preparation of statutory financial statements.

Preparing management accounts and bookkeeping assignments.

Assisting with VAT returns and other compliance requirements.

Liaising with clients to obtain information and resolve queries.

Supporting senior team members on more complex assignments.

Ensuring assignments are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.

Building and maintaining positive client relationships.

What you'll need to succeed

AAT qualification or be ACA/ACCA part-qualified.

Experience working within an accountancy practice.

Experience preparing accounts for a variety of business entities.

Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting requirements.

Experience using accounting software such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, or similar.

Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
