Reed Accountancy is currently working with a highly reputable and successful organisation in South Lanarkshire to recruit an experienced Accounts Payable Officer.

The main purpose of the role will be to process and pay high-volumes of invoices, whilst supporting senior finance managers and resolving invoice queries.

The main duties of the role are

Matching, batching and coding supplier invoices

Processing high volumes of invoices accurately and to deadline

Completing supplier statement reconciliations and resolving discrepancies

Assisting with BACS payment runs

Supporting CIS administration

Handling supplier queries and maintaining accurate ledger records

To succeed in this role, you will need

Previous experience in a Purchase Ledger / Accounts Payable role

Confidence in processing high volumes of invoices

Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills

Comfortable working with accounting systems and Excel

Working as part of a great team with the opportunity for hybrid work, this role would be ideal for any experienced Accounts Payable professional looking to strengthen a new team.
