Reed Accountancy is partnering with a market leading multi-national organisation to recruit an experienced Accounts Payable Manager.

The main purpose of the role will be to oversee end-to-end Accounts Payable operations across multiple global sites.

This is a business-critical role within a fast-paced and high-volume finance function, providing a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual to join a highly successful and expanding organisation.

The main responsibilities of the role are

Overseeing the end-to-end Accounts Payable function across multiple international entities

Managing the day-to-day operations of a high-volume AP department

Ensuring the smooth and efficient running of all AP processes

Driving continuous process improvements within the AP function

Managing invoice matching and query resolution where required

Ensuring payment runs are accurately organised and executed

Overseeing and assisting with payment processing activities

Maintaining strong stakeholder relationships across finance and operational teams globally

Reviewing and monitoring daily, weekly, and monthly controls and KPIs

Leading, developing, and supporting AP teams, ensuring high performance and engagement

Conducting regular one-to-ones, performance reviews, and appraisals

Delivering coaching, training, and ongoing support to team members

Ensuring all processes are completed in line with internal controls and audit requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need

Proven experience in an Accounts Payable management position or similar leadership role, preferably in a multi-national organisation

Strong leadership and team management capabilities

Confidence with stakeholder management

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

A high and consistent level of professionalism

The ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Highly adaptable, flexible, and resilient in response to changing business needs
