Clark Wood are working with an established independent firm of chartered accountants in Redditch who are looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Manager / Client Manager. This is a varied practice role with responsibility for managing your own portfolio of SME clients and acting as a key point of contact. The Role
Manage a portfolio of limited companies, sole traders and partnerships
Prepare and review statutory and management accounts
Prepare and review tax computations and returns
Deal directly with clients and handle queries
Review work completed by junior members of the team
Support junior staff with their development
Assist with billing, workflow and general team management
Get involved in ad hoc client work and projects
About You
ACA / ACCA qualified, or qualified by experience
Strong general practice background
Previous experience managing a portfolio of clients
Confident dealing directly with clients
Experience reviewing accounts and supporting junior staff
Good technical knowledge and strong communication skills
