About the Accounts Assistant Role
Working with a varied range of SME clients
Preparation of Limited Company, LLP, partnership and sole trader financial statements
Preparation of management accounts
Preparation of corporate and personal tax returns
Maintaining up-to-date technical knowledge of accounting standards
Oral and written communication with clients and HMRC
Liaising with colleagues to provide a co-ordinated service to clients
Maintaining client contact to deliver a proactive service
About You
Must have at least 2 years’ experience in an accounting practice preparing FRS102 Section 1A company accounts, partnership and sole trader accounts
Can be part-qualified or qualified by experience
Corporation tax and personal tax experience desirable
Commitment to delivering first-class service that exceeds clients’ expectations
Ability to work on your own initiative and to deadlines
Good technical knowledge and IT skills
Strong communication skills, both oral and written
Can demonstrate a track record of success working within a team
Adaptable and organised with a commercial approach
