Accounts Assistant Manager

We’re working with a well-established, growing independent accountancy practice in Leeds. Not PE-driven. Not obsessed with chargeable hours for the sake of it. Just a commercially sharp, people-first firm with a strong client base across Yorkshire.

As an Accounts Assistant manager you’ll manage your own portfolio while supporting junior staff and reporting into an approachable Partner team.

Responsibilities include

Managing a varied portfolio of SME clients

Reviewing statutory accounts (FRS 102 / 102 1A)

Corporation tax compliance

Supervising and mentoring trainees and Seniors

Acting as the main point of contact for clients

Supporting Managers and Partners on advisory projects

What They’re Looking For

ACA / ACCA qualified (or very close to qualifying)

Solid background in UK accountancy practice

Experience reviewing work and managing client relationships

Confident communicator who enjoys developing others
