Description

Prepare and review financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Manage the general ledger and oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.

Monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial performance metrics.

Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.

Coordinate with external auditors during audits.

Analyse financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.

Support the implementation and monitoring of internal financial controls.

Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes.

Profile

A successful Accountant should have

A professional accounting qualification or relevant degree in accounting or finance.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.

Experience with financial reporting and budget management.

Proficiency in accounting software and tools.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

Job Offer

Competitive salary ranging from £40,500 to £49,500 dependent on the level of experience.

Permanent position within the life science industry.
