We not only look to be experts on all things accounting standards and what this means for the company, but we also aim to consult and add value on workflows and decision-making throughout the entire organization.

We are looking for an Accountant to join our collaborative Finance team for a fixed-term maternity cover. In this role, you will be able to step right in and make an immediate impact, maintaining and contributing to our Nordics accounting processes while reporting to our Head of Accounting & Controlling.

What You’ll Do: The Recipe

Manage the end-to-end fixed asset cycle, ensuring all assets are accurately recorded, capitalized, and reconciled in accordance with accounting standards.

Partner with warehouse operations teams across multiple sites to track Capex project progress, validate asset coding, and confirm project status for timely capitalization.

Oversee marketing accruals and campaign accounting across three distinct entities, ensuring accurate period costs and alignment with commercial activities.

Deliver comprehensive marketing variance analysis against budget, identifying key discrepancies and providing actionable insights to finance leadership.

Support the broader month-end close process, audit preparation, and ad-hoc accounting or automation projects as part of the core finance team.

What You’ll Bring: The Ingredients

Passion, drive and excellent communication skills

A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent

3+ years experience working in the finance industry

Previous experience of working in a fast-paced business and a role which involved fixed assets and/or high volume accruals a plus

An eye and appreciation for detail and an understanding of data structures and complex systems/workflows

Strong Excel/Google Sheets

A keen interest in financial systems with exposur
