Salary: Up to £28,000 depending on experience Working Hours: 8.00am - 4.30pm (fully office-based) Holidays: 20 days plus bank holidays

About the Role: We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established global manufacturing business based in Bootle for an Account Manager to join their friendly and fast-paced team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys managing client relationships, taking ownership of accounts, and working in a varied role where no two days are the same. You will play a key role in managing customer accounts end-to-end, ensuring a seamless experience from order placement through to delivery and aftercare, while maintaining high standards of service and long-term client relationships.
Main Responsibilities to Include
Managing a portfolio of B2B customer accounts
Acting as the main point of contact for clients
Building and developing strong, long-lasting customer relationships
Processing orders, coordinating deliveries, and handling billing queries
Responding to customer enquiries via phone and email promptly and professionally
Liaising with internal teams including operations and transport
Resolving queries and complaints effectively
Identifying opportunities to upsell products and services
Maintaining accurate customer records and account information
Supporting the wider team in delivering an excellent customer experience
The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience in account management or B2B customer service
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Able to manage workload independently and work collaboratively within a team
Experience using Oracle is desirable but not essential
