AAT Part Qualified-Bookkeeper

We are committed to ensuring the safety and reliability of electrical installations across a wide variety of end markets. Based in Leeds, in a brand new office and warehouse facility we have ambitious plans for growth over the next five to seven years

Key Responsibilities

Processing purchase and sales invoices

Bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations

Preparing and posting journals (accruals, prepayments, depreciation)

Assisting with month-end and year-end close

Preparing VAT returns (UK)

Maintaining accurate accounting records

Supporting management reporting and ad-hoc finance tasks

Liaising with external accountants where required

About You

AAT qualified or studying (or equivalent experience) OR proven experience as a Bookkeeper

Strong working knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping

Experience using accounting software (e.g. Sage, SAP)

Confident with Excel and financial data

Highly organised with excellent attention to detail

Able to work independently and manage deadlines

Desirable (but not essential)

Experience supporting audits or statutory accounts
