Tutor for Accounting Apprenticeships (Levels 2–4)
Manchester
Permanent, Full-time
Up to £36,000 per annum
About the Role
You will deliver structured AAT Level 2 to Level 4 taught sessions, preparing learners for their AAT examinations, while supporting them throughout their apprenticeship journey.
Key Responsibilities
Design and deliver engaging, sequential learning sessions (face-to-face and online) in line with Accounting Standards and AAT requirements up to Level 4.
Manage learner caseloads, supporting retention, progression and achievement.
Assess learner work and provide timely, structured feedback, agreeing development objectives with learners, employers and, where appropriate, parents.
About You
Experience delivering AAT modules up to Level 3 minimum, with a willingness to develop to Level 4 delivery.
At least 3 years’ vocational industry experience within Finance.
1–2 years’ teaching, learning and assessment experience, with an understanding of Ofsted quality standards.
Relevant AAT or equivalent professional qualifications and up-to-date subject knowledge.
Teaching qualification (e.g. Diploma in Education and Training) or a willingness to work towards one.
All candidates who register with Reed Further Education will have 2 years’ referencing taken up and will be required to have a DBS check completed. All offers are conditional upon satisfactory background checks.
