Management Accountant

KennedyPearce are hiring a Results-driven qualified Management Accountant with extensive experience managing financial reporting, month-end close, compliance, cash flow analysis, and stakeholder management within fast-paced commercial environments. This role is 4 days a week in the office.The Management Accountant:Financial Reporting & Accounting

Managed end-to-end month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

Prepared management accounts, financial commentary, cash flow reporting, and executive management packs.

Maintained general ledger integrity through reconciliations, accruals, provisions, journal postings, and balance sheet reviews.

Supported the preparation of statutory financial statements and audit requirements.

Ensured compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and corporate governance frameworks, including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX).

Financial Control & Compliance

Delivered accurate P&L and balance sheet reporting while maintaining adherence to accounting policies and reporting deadlines.

Partnered with internal and external auditors, coordinating audits and resolving financial queries efficiently.

Managed approval processes, financial controls, and payment governance to ensure operational and regulatory compliance.

Analysis & Business Partnering

Produced insightful financial analysis and performance reporting to support strategic decision-making.

Developed and enhanced analytical methodologies to improve financial visibility and operational performance.

Leveraged business data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and actionable insights.

Delivered ad hoc financial modelling, reporting, and analysis for senior stakeholders.
